Tractor Cannon DebuffChecked — links and guide are done

The debuff build. Your damage is the lowest in the fireteam and that’s simply the deal. The job is keeping the 30% on the boss for the whole phase, and the rest of this is how to lose as little damage as possible while you do it.

Put it on a Prismatic Warlock rather than a Solar one. The debuffer is already giving up a weapon slot, and Prismatic hands back a damage Super, Transcendence, and grenades that extend the debuff when the boss is awkward to reach at point blank.

Bring it to a boss damage phase where you’re the one holding the debuff.

How it plays

Transcendence, grenade and melee, Needlestorm, then Tractor. One shot of Null Composure, trigger the sniper’s Dynamic Heat, and empty the magazine, around thirteen shots.

Melee, grenade, Tractor again. Three fusion shots is enough for Bait and Switch to expire, so go back to the sniper with it live again and dump the reserves. Tractor, melee, grenade, and finish on whatever the energy slot has left.

Around 3.5k DPS and 120k total, of which roughly 93k is the sniper.

If the boss makes a close-range Tractor shot expensive, an Argos say, shoot it once, get out, and hold the debuff up with grenades from range. The Mataiodoxía Needlestorm weaken-extension trick works here, run on yourself.

Why the gear

Tractor Cannon — a 30% weaken for 10 seconds, against Fafnir’s 5. Fafnir’s stretches while you keep firing it, but the ammo runs out long before the phase does.

Mataiodoxía — Needlestorm as a damage Super, which is what pays for the weapon slot you gave up. Stylostixis detonates a target carrying multiple Arcane Needles, and Needlestorm delivers a fistful at once.

Conspiracy Honed — the whole damage output, and the one thing to take from this Build. Dynamic Heat weapons hit bosses around 50% harder than a standard rapid-fire sniper. Want Ionized Heatsink, Vorpal Weapon and Bait and Switch, and farm it in the Equilibrium dungeon.

Energy slot — flexible. Null Composure with Envious Arsenal and Elemental Honing is a good pairing, but a primary, a rocket, a pulse or a trace rifle all work. Prismatic keeps Elemental Honing stacked on its own: Void and Stasis off Freezing Singularity, Strand off Needlestorm, Solar off Hellion, Arc off something like Getaway Artist.

TM Custom — four-piece again, for High Noon. The case for Vault of Glass is real here, though: its four-piece spawns Orbs under you on direct damage, and Orbs suit a support build better than 7% precision damage does.

The spread

185 Weapons, Super to 200 on helmet fonts, then Class. Identical to the Mataiodoxía Needlestorm build, because nothing about holding the debuff changes what the armor should roll.
