Ballidorse ShatterNeeds a DIM link and an Artifact Loadout
Pillar of Ice on the Artifact spawns a Stasis crystal every time you defeat a frozen target. That is the half Stasis Warlock never had: it could always freeze a room, but never make crystals out of one without borrowing a weapon to do the job.
Everything downstream has been in the kit for years. Hail The Storm makes shattering frozen targets and crystals hit harder, Whisper of Fissures makes the burst bigger, and Whisper of Shards turns each shatter into grenade energy. The crystal you could not reliably make is now the thing you make every couple of seconds, paying three perks at once.
Written for solo and end-game — Grandmaster-tier content is where the Exotic earns its slot rather than where it merely helps.
How it plays
Drop the rift, let Frostpulse freeze what is around you, stick a Shatter grenade to whatever survived, and pick off the frozen with the sword.
Underneath it you run two economies. The grenade one is Whisper of Shards off every crystal you break plus Whisper of Torment off every bullet you take, on a Shatter grenade whose base cooldown is already the shortest Stasis has. The source puts it back in your hand in ten to fifteen seconds with nothing else feeding it.
The class ability one is Frostpulse granting energy for freezing and Whisper of Refraction granting more for finishing the frozen, so the rift that starts the loop is back before the loop ends.
Iceflare Bolts makes it a room rather than a corner. Shattering a frozen target throws seekers at everything nearby, those freeze, those die into crystals, and the crystals shatter into more of the same. Glacial Harvest was tried in that slot for the extra Frost Armor and dropped, because the grenade came back faster and the battlefield stayed small.
Survivability is Frost Armor at full stacks and a rift you are almost never out of. Whisper of Rime raises the cap and the duration — the source calls it the difference between roughly 35% and 50% damage reduction — and Whisper of Conduction lost the slot to it.
Why the gear
Ballidorse Wrathweavers — does two things. Targets frozen by Winter’s Wrath take far more shatter damage, which is why the Super is worth chasing on a Build that otherwise never mentions it. And dropping a rift grants full Frost Armor regardless of how many targets you froze; without it a lone frozen add leaves you on one stack.
Seventh Seraph — four pieces, from Cosmodrome public events or the Lost Sector, so it costs nothing but time. Rasputin’s Wrath grants Warmind Charges for area-of-effect final blows, which is all this Build does, and each stack raises your Weapons and Grenade stats. Rasputin’s Reprisal spends those charges on a Solar detonation for defeating a powerful combatant or destroying a construct — and the manifest lists Stasis crystals as constructs by name. You manufacture that trigger on purpose.
Praxic Blade — the source’s pick, and the mod pages are built around it: Kinetic Ammo Generation, Kinetic Scavenger and two Kinetic Weapon Surges, with Special Ammo Finder on the helmet. Hyperblade is the trait worth having, and the sword stuns Overload and Unstoppable Champions on its own.
Marcato-45 — Demolitionist feeds the grenade loop, and as a Strand machine gun it is what Unraveling Orbs and Horde Shuttle read. Swap it for something else and half the Artifact stops paying.
Energy slot — free. The Seventh Seraph SI-2 is a set piece more than a pick.
Artifact — Unraveling Orbs, Horde Shuttle and Revitalizing Blast, which ignites champions when you stun them. Fever and Chill and Armorsmith round it out.
Easier-content swap — Verity’s Brow instead of the Wrathweavers, paired with a Stasis weapon such as Ager’s Scepter. Trades the Super damage and the guaranteed Frost Armor for a much harder Shatter grenade.
The spread
Grenade first and by a distance, as high as 150 or 160. The Shatter grenade is the single-target answer and the champion answer, and the stat is its damage as well as its cooldown. The source ran this at 100 with bad armor rolls and said so.
100 Class next, because the rift is what freezes, what grants Frost Armor and what starts every loop. 100 Super after that — not for uptime but because Winter’s Wrath under the Wrathweavers is a real damage option rather than a panic button. Health is the dump stat; Frost Armor and the rift cover it.
